For Taking Care Of My Family

“I was 20 years old with a beautiful 11 month old baby when my amazing Mum died from lung cancer. I am grateful to the NHS for helping me to deliver my baby, I was 19 and it was a little scary. I am grateful to the NHS for keeping my Dad alive through heart surgery and taking care of all my family. I am grateful to the NHS for catching abnormal cells on my cervix and removing them before they developed into cancer. Ladies – get your regular cervical screening tests done! My son is now 21 and unlike me at his age he still has his Mother. I am so grateful that I get to see my wonderful boy develop, and that I’ll get to be Grandmother one day. Thank you NHS!”
